Yes and you will be great at it. Sometimes it is hard to find that line between what you love and who you love (and what needs to be done for them). I totally understand. I hate my work but I love my family. It's just what needs to be done....as long as we don't let it totally eat our soul.

And, yeah, your family needs you. You play the game and find the bridge to pay the bills. 90 days may be a good bridge... take some short-term pressure off and let you find something you can more deeply embrace.

I'm not sure if you knew that Eric and I went through the summer mostly unemployed. As in, Eric, the primary breadwinner, was out of work for six months. Me, I was technically out of work - had some limited part time advising for the summer and got back to part time teaching this fall. So, the point is, we feel ya! I'm glad you found something to give you a breather, and hope that you will find something you love. It's worked out well for both of us - both ending up with jobs we are loving as much as, or more than our old ones. Here's hoping the same for you!
