Be Still My Foolish Heart

Somebody invented a race that was made in heaven!  Two miles on the NC State campus to the Krispy Kreme store, eat a dozen donuts, then two miles back.  Can anybody say, road trip?  LOL...

Read about it here.

we're totally doing that next year. this year it was the weekend before myrtle beach marathon, and kelley was pissed about it. besides, kelley's dad lives 5 blocks from the nc state campus. the toughest part is not puking after eating a dozen and trying to run 2 miles. and if it was dunkins.... holy mother.

Yeah - it's just minutes away from us and we meant to do it this year but somehow missed it! I hear there is a lot of puking but everyone LOVES this race. If you road trip it, we will definitely have to have a bloggy meet up!!

Do they have a Dr. waiting for you at the end to give you a bypass?

This is kryptonite for my training, weight loss, or eating healthy plan!

I COULD rationalize by saying, "well I'm running and I need to replace my glycogen."

Fun..Fun...Fun!

Oh my! Now that sounds like a challenge!

Reminds me of post college Krispy Kreme runs. The "hot light" goes on at 11:00 PM and the donuts are rolling hot off the conveyor belts. Only problem was...we drove the 2 miles to the store.

Steve and I did something like that in Iowa last year. Check it out...
