Why not I?

If not me, then who?

Runner Breaks Leg, Crawls To Finish Line

Check out this inspirational article on MyFoxClevland.com. Make sure you click the video on the sidebar.

A fine example of the running spirit that is in all of us, and a true competitor.

That's CRAZY.

I think I told you I've been a tad busy lately, so I apologize, again, for the late commenting.

Moving on, you're doing awesome with your training! You're hard core, wasp sting and all. =)

Wanted to add I had to cover my eyes and peek through to watch that video. So sad, but very inspiring.

We actually had a similar story here, where our county's top high school CC female runner broke her femur while running at a meet here a couple weeks ago. She was only about 1/3 mile in when it happened. The course consisted of two loops, and she was on the ground cheering the other runners on despite the pain while waiting for crews to get to her. She is now out for the season, but hopes to be back for the track season.

I really could have done without the video.

But...it does show determination, that is for sure.
