Alpharetta 10K - Pre-race Report

Well, here we go. I've got another busy weekend scheduled ahead. I won't bore you with the details, but let's just say I picked up some soccer matches in addition to my race for this weekend. It's entirely up to me to make sure that I don't kill myself tomorrow so my race performance suffers, and that is exactly what I intend to do. After the race on Sunday, I have two matches, then I'm taking the night off from the adult league to have a wonderful dinner with my family.

Dee Dee is going to pick up the packets for the race on Saturday. It just so happens that Mr. Matthew is playing soccer over in that part of town. She is going to swing by on the way back and make our pick up.

Good luck to everyone racing this weekend, especially those doing Chicago! I'll think about you while I am doing less than 25% of your race this Sunday :-)

Finish strong!

Wes

ORN: 3.5 miles, 40:34, normal pace, 11:30 miles, R5/W1

Don't listen to Jodi.... you may need the afterburners for the last 800m....Mexican could come in handy!
